They gather all be it in silence if that is what the day commands. They visit, reminisce, honour and respect each other, and those that have gone before. The symbol for their sacrifices is the poppy. A simple tribute for those who did not come home.

Memorials, buildings, and personal spaces have evolved over time as have the venues. The setting may change, the offering does not, recognition and thanks to the War Veterans in communities around the world find a home at any locale. All resonating with the common bond of war and peace.

Remembrance Day, one day out of three hundred and sixty-five set aside to honour our Soldiers and Peace Keepers. One day of remembering is not enough!

REMEMBER - Each time you pass by or visit a Legion, a Cenotaph, an Armed Forces Convoy.

REMEMBER - Each time you look at a photo of a family member or friend in uniform.

REMEMBER - Each time you read or hear a story on the news or social media.

REMEMBER - The women and men in uniform and thank them for serving our country.

REMEMBER ALWAYS - They are the reason why we are here.
