Writing a book to some is a daunting thought, and that includes me. Yet how can that be when I have six books published? Let me tell you, each time I have an idea that I think needs to become a book, I groan. I don't necessarily write in the traditional form. By that, I mean, most authors use an outline and plan the story from start to finish. I tend to just write as the thoughts come, moving them into place later. Then I decided to write a story utilizing weekly prompts I receive from one of the online writing groups I participate in. I have come to realize after ten plus weeks of writing about the same characters, I am, in fact outlining a book, 99 words at a time. |
You can follow my unconventional outline process and read Hanna's Story as it evolves. Will there be changes and additions when the outline eventually morphs into a book? You betcha!
