Suggestions and directions to starting a Regrow Garden
Regrow Project - Romain Lettuce
Re-used, re-cycled, reclamation, upcycle and now we add re-growable to the list of descriptive words to motivate our creativity in living.
Fresh produce during the summer months and into fall is easy to come by. But what about the rest of the year? Let’s face it, the season doesn’t really matter if you are using vegetables bought from a store. The green grocer part of the bill is always expensive, yet we buy, buy, buy.
There are options to having vegetables year round at next to nothing for cost. Your investment will be a little time, patience, water, containers, flower pots, dirt and kitchen food scraps. Voila, you are on your way to harvesting a Regrow garden.
Growing a bare minimal list of vegetables using the Regrow system can and will reduce the food bill. It's also a perfect solution for small space and no space gardening.
The timing couldn’t be better to start a Regrow project for yourself or with the out of school crowd. Teaching children and grandchildren how to grow their own food, and save money doing it, has never been easier.
