Too often you read on social media it is the ‘National Day of …”. Most of these days, in my opinion, we could do without. But today, August 22 is one that needs to come front and centre. It speaks of tradition, heritage and a lifestyle we could use more of.
I know it to be something I am passionate about, something I grew up knowing, something I still embrace and try very hard to share with accuracy in my writing.
Hats off to the cowboy, not just today, The National Day of the Cowboy, but always.
