The Meadowland pond was a mirror to Ed's disappointment; he stared in disbelief. A hummingbird hung in a hover beside him. Mary's freshly made fudge lay on the bottom of the pond in a cage of pebbles. It was expensive but he knew Dan would definitely give him a refund.
